I was very happy with the service overall for 2 months... then overnight, the dog walker who was taking care of my dog got fired (she told me she got fired at 11.30 in the evening over a rough conversation with the owner!). I was notified the next morning by text message by the dog walker, and tried all morning to email and call the owner to understand what was going on. Since my dog gets her daily walk around 2 pm, I had to let the dog walker, who still had my keys, take care of the walk for that day anyway. When I managed to reach the owner (yes, I had to call back, he would not return my call or email), he could not give me a good reason to fire the walker, and just said he was sorry but he had no other person to take care of my dog in my neighborhood. I was very deceived for this lack of service - he did not even offer to find an arrangement for the rest of the week (this happened a Tuesday). The only thing I am happy for is that I managed to find another company to walk my dog daily and hope they turn out to be more reliable and/or have a plan B in case something like this happens, which obviously is not a concern at Doggie's Playmate :( view short comment
